The big reveal

Instead of redecorating two rooms and separating the girls, we decided to take the easier route by keeping them together. They seem happy and aren't asking for their own room yet. I plan to re-do the guest room a little to put a reading area, and making it a little cozy in there, so one could escape there if they needed space.

Space is not something either of them is asking for right now.

I haven't taken a picture w/ the art in place and the painted dresser. And new lamp. Our old lamp was a casualty of my frenetic carpet steaming. We got a few wall lamps at IKEA on Sunday, and I need to persuade Daddy to put those up as well.

The reading bench/bookshelf BARELY fits between the beds which is just lucky b/c I don't remember getting too official in my measurements.

4 year old bliss

I am not sure there is anything more wonderful than a four year old. I have never been told how much I am loved.

When I dropped H&L off for "enrichment Monday" (aka school day for only the kids w/ working moms)I saw this on the bulletin board in the hall.

Harper has been talking about how God made the world and everything in it. And she picked mommies as what she was thankful that God made. What could make a mommy happier? Classmate posts included "army guys" and "insects and wasps".
