Why Caca is so popular

Here are some pictures she took of recent activities she did with the girls.

From the archives...

Here is a picture that Jessica took on the girls 1st birthday. We went to Phil's Ice House/Amy's Ice Cream.

Dayschool

I neglected to take pictures today. Maybe Momma Freas did. Today's topic was "friends and helping". The girls didn't mind at all when I dropped them off and headed off for an ICED latte (have I mentioned its been 97 degrees?). Jessica says the attentions spans are getting longer as they get used to the school thang. Harper and Lucy loved squishing their toes in the rice - today's sensory activity.

Meanwhile, I went to Target. Again. Casualty of shopping with toddlers - I always forget some essential item or buy something "wrong". Yesterday I did both. Forgot the watch I went to get. This is my third Ironman watch since December. I am running through these things like they are going out of style. And I bought a skirt that friend Ruthie pointed out was actually a dress, and incredibly see through.

I tried to find some dress up clothes or dress up dolls while I was there. I thought this might stem the bathing suit hoarding/putting on that Lucy keeps doing, but the only thing they has was (guess) princess dresses. Wait. They did have toddler wedding dresses. Complete with boquet and veil accessories. Are you kidding me? This makes the princess dresses look progressive.

Instead, I ended up with Mr. Potato Head Jumbo Pack.

Silence is not always golden

Sometimes silence finds the markers and writes on its face and arms.

Time for a bigger pool

They both want to bring their boats in at the same time. With the 2 inches of water.

First ice cream cones

Lucy was making me crazy because she was (in typical fashion) trying to save/hoard hers.

Sex and the Dishwasher Detergent

Last night I went to the Alamo Drafthouse with some girlfriends to see Sex and The City. After silencing my phone and slipping into a few champagne cocktails (the Miranda)I let the days work of laundry, swing pushing and poop slide away to a fantasy life of Park Avenue Penthouses, designer handbags and Manolo Blahniks.

As I'm watching the drama of my four fabulously-dressed fantasy friends, and thinking how I need to wear high heels much more often, I hear a little bleep and notice that a text message just came in on my phone. From home. Figure I should check it in cases something is up with the girls. No dishwashing powder. Fantasy averted.
