Welcome back sleeves

We went to gymnastics today. It was MUCH improved over last week - post vaccination L&H were not having gymnastics last week. We all left in tears. Since, I have been talking up gymnastics. Bribing. Threatening. The final lure was lunch and ice cream post successful gymnastics class. Phew. It worked. This week they went in and did great.

It was a perfect cooler day for it.

Post-gymnastics-lunch-ice cream - playscape excursion I removed the leotards and threw on Lucy a dress we haven't seen for a while. It has sleeves. Sleeves haven't had a presence in our lives for about 6 months.

She looked at it and said "this is the cutest thing I've ever seen!" Then she chastised me a little because it was her favorite and she was trying to remind me about it, but apparently I had not been giving the issue its proper concern. Thankfully, the 20 degree drop in weather has reunited them.

One flew off

and I stopped snapping photos.

Thank you for your patience....

Its come to my attention lately because I haven't posted to the blog lately. Or have a birthday party for the girls. I know. I'm awful. But it has been busy. Work projects, school starting, AMOM sale have all taken time. And I decided to completely clean out my closet. Which is the type of thing I decide to do when things seem out of control. At least I can control my wardrobe. I have clothes from before I lived in Austin. Which is a long time.

So, I'm going to try to put up some posts. About the girls. Thanks for holding.

Choices

Today we went to the Disney outlet store. It was about what you would expect. Amazement and gasping. We have definitely discovered Disney. It started with Nemo an has moved on to all the princess movies (Lucy's favorite). We told the girls they could pick out a costume. We are planning to have a little princess tea party shindig for their birthday (yes their birthday was last week, I've been busy). So, I wanted them to pick a princess costume that could double as Halloween. As Lucy waivered between Ariel and Snow White, Harper was eyeing the Buzz Lightyear and Woody and kept asking about Spiderman. She wanted nothing to do with the princesses.

This is was their final decision.

Three!

Happy birthday my sweet three year olds! From what I can tell, 3 is volatile. Adorable, sweet highs and hair pulling lows. Today I received many sweet kisses and cracked up at their dancing and funny phrases. I also have scratch marks on my chest, greasy hair (no shower) and a destroyed house.

It was also our first day of school. We have the same teacher, Ms. Nooshi, but a brand new building (not portable classroom) and new friends. We went bought cupcakes. Went to the toystore (Harper- Playmobil construction set; Lucy- Playmobil unicorn/fairy). Had a playdate with a new friend. And did. not. nap.

Tomorrow is the mothers of multiples sale so I will be done with endless sorting, tagging, pricing, cleaning of clothing, shoes, and gear. Hopefully I will be coming home with less than I took in.

Planning a low key princess/spiderman tea party with little friends sometime during the week next week.

Clown Station

Our new school building has an elevator in it. This apparently made quite the impression on H&L. Ever since they went to camp they have been pretenting that the guest bathroom is the elevator. The other day they managed to get both of their car seats in to the 3'x3' space. I am not quite sure why.

But tonight, the guest bathroom was elevated (no pun intended) to a "clown station". I am not sure what that is, but the moniker seems appropriate for our house.
