There seems to be a trend here. Today on the changing table Lucy reached down for a particularly messy a.m. b.m. Proceeded to try to sniff/bring to mouth.
Is this a developmental phase?

Gross.
Harper put a piece of poo in her mouth.
Grosser - it wasn't her own.
Thankfully she had the good sense to immediately take it out.

I lost 30 lbs
of clothes...
Its fall and I have done my bi-annual closet shift out and a major purge. No more white shoes, searsucker or linen. This is creating questions for me with regards to the girls. Are the Carter's sunsuits and bubbles out now? Halter tops? I don't want to buy TOO much at their 6-12 size, but I don't see them passing the 20lb mark for a few months still. I need to get an entire fall wardrobe for them. I have gotten a few items so far. I love corduroy. Layering. I'll go buy leggings and long sleeve cotton tees.
Skinny friends - PLEASE come over and shift through my things. Here is an example of things that no longer have a place in my life:
- size 2 suits (or size 2 anything for that matter)
- shrunken tees
- suede skirts
- many pairs of too small jeans of various designers, cuts and lengths
- skimpy halter tops
- brooks brother's no iron shirts
- high-heeled pumps
- pencil skirts (or any skirt you can't sit on the ground in)
Here's what I can't have enough of:
- x-long tank tops and long-sleeved tees
- flat shoes
- hoodies
Someone needs to schedule an intervention.

The Force is with us
I ordered the costumes - Princess Leia, Baby Chewbaca and Yoda for Murdoch from HalloweenCostumes4U. I don't know what Greg and I are going to be. I am not going as Jar Jar Binks.

Calling all Moms - Hit me with your best resources
I am realizing that before I know it I am going to have toddlers with their own opinions and agendas. Lucy has already learned "no" and says "uh oh" before dropping food on the floor.
I figure I should bone up on some discipline and toddler behavior books. Looking for a kind, gentle appproach (at least for now) as I can tend to be more on the hardass side when it comes to discipline.
Experienced Moms- can you recommend any books?

Time is running out
To vote for who you think is going to walk first. Harper does let go and come for me, but hasn't taken those steps yet. Lucy loves pushing her walker around and is getting tons of practice tiem in. I don't know if either will make it before their birthday though.
