Happy Birthday America!

Harper and Lucy have a new favorite holiday - 4th of July. We spent the morning at the Allandale neighborhood parade. There was a firetruck, old-timey cars and a convoy of prius' (say what?). There was also a rabbit dressed in camo in a special little tank. I forgot the camera (damn.)

Then yesterday afternoon we had a few folks over for a "cookout" which means we turned on the grill and allowed folks to cook their own meat. What is this? UR Cooks? We spent most of the time inside because, yes, it rained again yesterday. L&H especially liked waving the little flags they got at the parade and hitting daddy with it.
