Road trip

Today we went with some friends to the New Braunfels Children's museum and to famous Lockhart barbeque afterwards. We realized this is the furthest the girls have travelled. I wish this museum was closer. It was new and large and on one story. It was really geared to younger/preschool aged children.

We started out chillin in the backseat and making faces.

They had a fully-stocked mini grocery store. They were in heaven.
Stocking up on the essentials

Art room

Outside water play

Rock climbing

Finding Nemo

First trip to bbq to legendary Smitty's in Lockhart

Post bbq ice cream cones sitting on the gutter outside of Smitty's

They surprisingly did not fall asleep in the drive home, and didn't get down for their nap until after three. We were opening the doors and banging around to keep them on some sort of schedule. I still think they will sleep well tonight.

Cute pics! I too wish that our museum was as good as that one! Did you notice that the ATM gives real (fake) money? To spend in the "store" or deposit in the "bank"! LOVE IT! We'll go back there with you guys any time!
