Symbiotic

Very often as I am walking around the neighborhood with the double stroller and Murdoch, our 75lb yellow lab, I get the comment "wow, you've got your hands full." They seem to think that Murdoch ADDS to the household burden. If you're counting dog hair, maybe. But since the girls started eating finger foods and feeding themselves, I wonder how parents of toddlers survive without a dog. I would be sweeping and mopping multiple times a day. Instead, I merely point out the glob of oatmeal on the wall, and Murdoch goes to it.
